The Vasion and Imprivata Enterprise Access Management (EAM) integration offers healthcare IT teams secure, badge-based print release on the shared workstations they already use. The Vasion platform now integrates Imprivata EAM to extend badge identity from the workstation to the printer, associating the print jobs to the user instead of the Windows session. Clinical staff can use follow-me printing to release their jobs at any printer with a single badge tap, with no rip-and-replace of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or Imprivata required.

Does this replace our Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or Imprivata investment?

No. The Vasion platform integrates directly with the Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Imprivata infrastructure you already have, so there is no rip-and-replace.

Is the integration secure and HIPAA-ready?

Jobs are held for Secure Release until the right person badges in, and every badge authentication event is captured in audit logs. Vasion is SOC 2 Type II, SOC 3, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001 certified.

Do we need new badge hardware?

No. The integration works with the badge readers already deployed in most Imprivata environments, so no new hardware is required.

Does it work on both shared kiosks and individually assigned workstations?

Yes. The same Vasion agent handles Imprivata and non-Imprivata workstations automatically, without per-device configuration.

Which printers does it support?
